IMMUNOGUARD®

The scientifically designed IMMUNOGUARD® from SPONSER® is a dietary supplement based on vegetable ingredients. It was developed with the aim of reinforcing the immune system in various ways and protecting the body from oxidative stress. The functional ingredients of IMMUNOGUARD® support the body's own immune system in phases of increased stress during sports, in everyday life or on journeys (increased risk of infection).

Ingredients

IMMUNOGUARD® is freely available (no medical drug) and consists of safe, reliable raw materials with no doping risk. The product is based on the action of numerous functionally researched ingredients such as nucleotides, yeast beta-glucans, arabinogalactan, vitamins (C, D, B12), zinc and extracts of turmeric, Reishi, black pepper and olive leaves.

The active ingredients of IMMUNOGUARD at a glance.

Nucleotides
Nucleotides are the primary building blocks of cell replication (RNA and DNA). Nucleotides play a central role whenever new cells have to be formed, for example in the formation of white blood cells for the immune response during an infection.

Arabinogalactans
ResistAid® arabinogalactans are soluble dietary fibres with immunomodulating properties by increasing the activity of natural killer cells, cytokines and macrophages. Thus, viruses and bacterial stressors can be better inactivated by the increased immune competence of the body, especially in the upper respiratory tract.

Curcuma extract
As a component of the Far Eastern diet for centuries, curcuma is considered anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.

Reishi extract
Reishi is an edible mushroom with anti-inflammatory properties that has also been used in the Far Eastern diet for thousands of years. The mechanism of action is based on bioactive polysaccharides which, similar to arabinogalactans or beta-glucans, dock to viral or bacterial stressors and inactivate them.

Olive leaf exctrat
Olive leaves are rich in hydroxytyrosol, a substance of the large polyphenol family with strong antioxidant properties.

Beta-glucans from yeast
Beta-glucans are polysaccharides and occur naturally in yeast and cereals. Beta-glucans from yeast have a slightly different chemical structure than the grain variant and differ in their effect. Yeast beta-glucans simulate pathogens for certain defence bodies, whereby an immune response of the body takes place and it can thus react faster to actual pathogens. A study in athletes showed that athletes with 250 mg yeast beta-glucans daily suffered significantly less from respiratory infections compared to placebo. In addition, the effect was dose-dependent, i.e. the greater the amount of beta-glucan extract, the lower the susceptibility to infection.

Black pepper extract
Black pepper contains naturally piperine, which is responsible for the spiciness. However, piperine is not only of interest to humans as a sensory molecule. In the immune defence, piperine has an antimicrobial effect. Piperin also seems to improve the absorption of other nutrients such as curcumin, which is why piperin is used in food supplements.

Vitamins & minerals
The vitamins C, D, B12, folic acid and zinc support the normal function of the immune system. Vitamins C, E and zinc help to protect cells from oxidative stress. Folic acid and vitamin B12 play an important role in the cell division process.

Zinc

Zinc against colds

Zinc is an essential trace element as it determines growth, development and maintenance of immune function. Supplementation with zinc prevents colds and can also be used for therapeutic purposes. In this case, it should be started at the latest 24 hours after the onset of the first cold symptoms.

Zinc - like many other vitamins and minerals - is contained in IMMUNOGUARD from SPONSER and thus strengthens the antiviral immunity.

Polyphenols

Plant ingredients with strong bioactive efficacy

Numerous foods such as green tea, citrus fruits, chocolate, berries, coffee, herbs and vegetables are rich in polyphenols. These are plant ingredients with a strong bioactive effect. Some of them fight viruses and infections, others protect against oxidative stress.

Those who make their diet as varied and colourful as possible lay a good foundation for getting through the winter in a healthy way. We recommend IMMUNOGUARD to additionally protect against infections and strengthen your defensive forces. The various ingredients of this herbal food supplement strengthen the immune system.

Larch arabinogalactan

Healthy and strong through the winter!

A clinical study showed that larch arabinogalactan strengthens the immune system against colds. Arabinogalactans are found in many vegetables and medicinal herbs. They belong to the polysaccharides and can dock to human mucous membrane surfaces helping to keep viruses and bacteria away.

If you don't want to rely exclusively on larch arabinogalactan, use IMMUNOGUARD. The ingredients of this herbal-based food supplement strengthens the immune system and protects against oxidative stress.

Boost your immune system

IMMUNOGUARD strengthens the immune defence of athletes

With IMMUNOGUARD, SPONSER has developed a scientifically designed food supplement on a natural herbal basis that strengthens the immune system and protects against oxidative stress. The product was developed for athletes, but due to its high-quality functional ingredients it is also suitable for everyday use and work or during periods of increased stress and risk of infects (traveling, crowd events).

IMMUNOGUARD has a very broad spectrum of action and is freely available (no medical drug, therefore no doping risk). It is based on natural, functionally active ingredients such as yeast nucleotides, arabinogalactan, yeast beta-glucans, vitamins (C, D, B12), zinc as well as extracts of curcuma, Reishi, black pepper and olive leaves. It can be taken preventively or acutely. It is recommended to use for several days, whereby one sachet is dissolved daily in approx. 250 ml of water.

Game, set, match

All you need to know about sports nutrition in tennis

During the short breaks after the sets you can see cracks like Roger Federer eating half a banana and or having a drink from time to time. Does a tennis athlete need specific sports nutrition and if so, what do you need to know?

Short breaks on the court
Numerous, but short breaks during sets mean that sports nutrition in tennis has to meet special needs: Sports nutrition must not only be consumable quickly, but must also be as tolerable as possible. So if you see tennis stars eating half a (ripe) banana during the sets, there is nothing wrong with that. For a match lasting several hours, however, this snack is definitely not enough.
Tennis players can therefore rely on liquid energy from the tube, for example with a LIQUID ENERGY GEL (with or without caffeine), a high-quality, carbohydrate sports drink such as COMPETITION, LONG ENERGY or ISOTONIC or a few bites of a HIGH ENERGY BAR. In search of a noticeable caffeine kick that reawakens motivation and concentration, we recommend an ACTIVATOR ampoule or a few POWER GUMS out of the bag. The previous and regular use of MENTAL FOCUS can offer clear advantages in terms of cognitive performance both in technical training and in competition.

Indoor or outdoor
From a nutritional point of view, it makes no difference whether a tennis match is played indoor or outdoor on sand, grass or hart court. However, the climatic conditions can vary significantly and thus have a corresponding influence. Temperature and humidity are central parameters that must be taken into account when eating on the tennis court. In the cold and in low humidity, nutrition has primarily to cover the energy demands of an athlete. In the heat or in great humidity the body needs considerably more liquid. If matches over three, four or sometimes five sets including tie-break are expected, a carboloading two days before the competition is recommended. If the heat on the court is high, a previous soda loading with LACTAT BUFFER can be very useful. Players with a high sweat rate and a tendency to cramp additionally use SALT CAPS or MUSCLE RELAX shots.

Regeneration during tournaments
In tennis tournaments lasting several days or even two weeks, regeneration plays an important role. The recommendations are therefore: Regular carboloading with CARBO LOADER, every second or third day. In hot and humid regions, soda loading with LACTAT BUFFER is recommended to increase sodium levels and thus prevent dehydration and cramps. Always take a carbohydrate-protein shake such as PRO RECOVERY after every match and additionally consume a protein shake MULTIPROTEIN or CASEIN in the evening before going asleep. If frequent travel and/or contact with large crowds is necessary, the use of IMMUNOGUARD prevents the risk of infection.
